April Beard serves as the Director of Human Resources and Risk Management, bringing over twenty years of HR and legal experience to the role.  Prior to her current position, April served in various roles with the State of Tennessee where she oversaw personnel actions, the implementation of state-wide initiatives, and provided legal and operational support to executive leadership.

April holds a paralegal certification from Tennessee Career College and is a graduate of various state-led leadership programs.
